Before undertaking study courses and pastoral counseling in Scientology, I thought I was leading a pretty average life. I worked at a job where I earned enough to cover my expenses and save a little. I was married. I got along reasonably well with others. I had no major complaints.
After beginning Scientology, I became more alert and aware. I accomplished more in less time. The world around me became more vivid, more real and more there. I began living and functioning in present time.
As my progress in Scientology continued, I achieved personal certainty that I was no longer susceptible to deterioration. If I lost my friends, my job and my possessions, I could rebuild. I gained confidence that my life could not be shattered, under even the most adverse circumstances.
I started my own business and now earn substantially more than I could possibly make at my old job. The personal certainty and stamina I gained in Scientology is the reason for this success, as I would not have attempted going into business for myself prior to Scientology.
My relationships with other people improved markedly. I gained the ability to give or receive any communication on any subject without having my buttons pushed. Problems vanished. Bad times in the past no longer troubled me. I no longer held grudges or engaged in oneupmanship.
There were unexpected benefits in my experiences in Scientology. One day in a pastoral counseling session, I recalled something that occurred 150 years ago. This recall was in full color, complete in every detail - I could recall the smells, the feeling of the air on my face and every minute detail of the time. This memory was as real as eating lunch today. I knew that I had lived before this life and that I was an immortal spiritual being, timeless and deathless. I could no longer view myself as a series of chemical reactions in a collection of cells, or wonder if life is a brief spark in an eternity of darkness.
Friends and even strangers began to tell me their personal troubles and difficulties. My opinion is that they know that it is safe to do so and recognize that I am a person who has found answers.
I could say much more about how Scientology has made a positive difference in my life. Unequivocally, Scientology has changed my life for the better.
